The neurological makeup of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is an area of research ever evolving. 

Gaining a better perspective of the underlying neurological aspects of the ADHD diagnosis can better inform those providing care. 

Join sought after occupational therapist, Varleisha Gibbs PhD, OTD, OTR/L, ASDCS as she shares evidence-based strategies for working with the diagnosis of ADHD. 

This course includes an overview of previous coursework on Self-Regulation and Mindfulness and the ACTION from Trauma Approach. Specific attention is given to the latest research specific to ADHD.  

Attending will help you further gain the essential knowledge of the underlying neuroanatomical connections to help you better select and develop appropriate interventions for children who display challenging behaviors.  

Dr. Gibbs reviews the science connecting neurology to video case examples and unveils to connection to sensory strategies.  

This 2-hour overview course delves deep into the signs, symptoms, and evidence-based intervention approaches to address ADHD. Attendees will leave with activities and worksheets to assist in intervention planning and tools to assess and client needs.
