This course will combine theory with practice in exploring the different sensory systems, yoga poses, breathing exercises and mindful activities to support body awareness, core stability, motor planning and regulation.

We will use a variety of yoga poses, breathing based activities and tools that can be used in a variety of settings and cohorts of clients. Even though the course is child-focused, it can be applied across the lifespan.

Whether you are providing 1-2-1 intervention or in a group setting such as a hospital, the course will provide a foundation for understanding how different yoga poses and breathing exercises can support clients in a variety of settings.

There is a practical element to the course so please ensure you have access to a gym /yoga mat, space to practice and wear comfortable clothes.

Online training day will start at 09.30 UK time. The course will finish at 15:00. There will be 3 sessions of 1.5 hours with a 30 minute break between each session.
