What People Are Saying
Michelle Widjaewm, Assessment and Transitions Director, Priory Group:
“I really enjoyed the whole SIE SIF course, and I feel it has improved my sensory support across the organisation in many different settings across health and social care, by allowing me to look at things through a sensory perspective lens. The course was easy to follow, interactive and kept me interested to learn more throughout. The tutor was always available and very supportive, and the interaction of other delegates meant much wider learning.”
Amanda Fox, Founder of Autastic:
"This is a necessary qualification if you are working with any Neurodivergent individuals or groups who will all be impacted by sensory preferences, differences and difficulties."
Teodora Byrne, NDwise Hub Consulting:
"I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to apply the knowledge into meaningful and tangible support. The course was very laid out, easy to follow and all the supporting downloads are very helpful."
Ethel Griffiths, OT Assistant, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council
“Completing the Sensory Inclusion Facilitator Certificate has been a very valuable experience for me as an OT Assistant. It has deepened my understanding of sensory processing and provided practical strategies that I use daily to better support children’s individual sensory needs. The course has helped me feel more confident in adapting environments and activities, and in working closely with my colleagues and school staff to promote inclusion, regulation, and meaningful participation. It has made a significant difference to my practice and the quality of support I am able to provide to the children I work with.”
Rachel Sweeney, OTA for a supported living company:
"I found the modules very interesting and have helped well with what I am planning to do with individuals. I really enjoyed learning the different ways to look through a sensory lens and the different senses to consider. This course has been very helpful for looking into activities that would help individuals have a good sensory diet and activities that meet their needs!"
Judy Camp, Specialist Practitioner Child Development:
"This course has truly enhanced my approach to supporting children with sensory needs. The course explained about all the senses and being under or over sensitive and gave strategies on how to handle this. The content was clear, engaging, and highly relevant to real‑world practice. I now feel better equipped to create more inclusive environments for the families I work with. I find the "flight path really helpful."
Public Health Academic:
"Fantastic introduction to sensory processing and integration. As a parent to child with developmental delays who is in various therapies, the course gave me the information and confidence to speak with her therapists about sensory processing and consider ways to support my child at home. I signed up to the Lifelong Learning program after the facilitator course ended, and this has also been fantastic for expanding my understanding of sensory processing among many other topics."

Read MoreI work with pre-school children with neuro-developmental delay. The children come into clinic for assessment in a new environment with lots of demands on them. I always try hard to make this experience as comfortable and productive as possible for them as well as their parents who have time to in depth to the Paediatricians about what is happening with their child. I have relied on my intuition and experience to tune into the child and how they must be feeling but this course has broadened my thinking and knowledge to be much better equipped to think about what is really happening for them. I also give advice and support to parents on challenging behaviour, sleep and toileting. The sensory inclusion course will really help me ask better questions and get a clearer picture which hopefully will enable me to support parents more and give more appropriate advice. Thank you, it has been fascinating. (15 Jul 2025)

Read MoreThis is such an important course for understanding children's behaviour and often unmet needs. The fact that it is not ever likely just sensory regulation ( modulation) but that there will be difficulties with sensory discrimination ( meaning) and also then more complex challenges with motor. The one impacts the other ! Handouts are brilliant and really have a fabulous resource of all the helpful information. (11 Jun 2025)
