Sensory Integration Education – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by Sensory Integration Education and all associated courses, memberships, platforms and services (the “Site”). Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using the Site, registering for a course, purchasing a membership, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Sensory Integration Education. These Terms also apply to all linked platforms that we use to deliver our services.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Site. If you breach these Terms, your authorisation to use the Site will terminate immediately.

We provide education and training related to sensory processing and sensory integration through the Site and related platforms. The Site is intended as an educational resource only and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, assessment, or treatment. You should always seek specialist advice tailored to your circumstances.


2. Services and Materials

2.1 Materials and Content

We provide online training courses, memberships, events, live group video calls, webinars, downloadable resources, quizzes, tests, articles, forums, and other educational materials (the “Materials”).

2.2 Educational, Not Clinical

The Materials are produced by registered occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech and language therapists with postgraduate training in sensory integration. Their role is educational, not clinical, and nothing provided through the Site constitutes medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical advice.

2.3 Accuracy and Reasonable Efforts

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Materials are accurate and appropriate for general educational use. These efforts include:

2.5 Live Sessions

Where live group calls, meetings or webinars are included, we will make reasonable efforts to deliver them as scheduled, but may make necessary adjustments to session times, content, or facilitators.

2.6 No Therapeutic Relationship

Participation in any course, membership, live session, or webinar does not create a therapist–client or clinician–patient relationship with any member of our team.

2.7 Language and Terminology

We embrace neurodiversity. At times, research papers or external references may use terminology that differs from our preferred language, where such research holds educational value.

We are committed to providing accessible learning experiences and continually improving accessibility across our services.

3.2 Accessible Course Features

Our courses include audio-described slides and animations, along with downloadable transcripts.

3.3 Support for Postgraduate Students

Students enrolled in the MSc in Sensory Integration through Sheffield Hallam University have access to the university’s dedicated support services.


4. Course Access and Memberships

4.1 Immediate Access

Access to short courses and paid memberships begins immediately upon registration or successful payment.

4.2 Duration of Access

Courses and memberships are time-limited and access begins on payment and continues for the purchased period. Access cannot be extended, and renewed access requires purchasing the course or membership again.

Each account is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login details. If you share your account, we may remove you from courses or memberships, delete your account, and refuse access without refund.

You acknowledge that the Materials do not replace professional medical advice and agree to seek appropriate guidance before taking action relating to sensory integration therapy.

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 Payment

Payments for courses and memberships must be made online by credit or debit card, or by bank transfer after requesting an invoice. We cannot accept payments by phone.

We use Stripe for secure payment processing and do not receive or store your card details.

6.2 VAT

We are not VAT registered.

6.3 Auto-Renewal

Memberships do not automatically renew unless expressly stated at the point of purchase.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid.


7. Cancellations and Refunds

7.1 14-Day Cancellation Right

You may cancel your course or membership within 14 days of receiving your acknowledgement email. We will refund the full fee to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

7.2 Digital Content Waiver

By accessing the digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, you agree that your right to cancel is waived in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7.4 After the 14-Day Period

You may cancel at any time after the 14-day period, but no refunds or partial refunds will be issued.


8. Limitation of Liability

While we take reasonable care in preparing the Materials, we do not guarantee that the Site or Materials will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current.

The Materials are general information and may not meet your individual needs. We do not guarantee that participation in any course or membership will:
