Sensory stories are deceptively simple narratives that can be used in a multitude of ways to engage children (and adults) in literacy and to support them with sensory aspects of their lives that they find challenging.

I literally fell in love with them, such a great addition to social stories, particularly for Autistic young people or those with adversity in their past. I was very moved by the use in older adult dementia care. Personally I feel these are going to be so helpful for building relationships between parent and child where there are attachment difficulties and poor co regulation. Just loved this course, Joanna you are a great presenter!
