About

Meet SensorNet's Editor:
Gina Evans

Hello, I’m Gina Evans, a senior Occupational Therapist with more than a decade’s clinical experience in paediatrics. Based in Ireland, I’m an SIE Advanced Practitioner in Sensory Integration and I’ve completed an MSc in Sensory Integration. I have a specific interest in teaching and education, particularly in SI training for allied health professionals. I’m also part of the Sensory Integration Education UK & Ireland postgraduate education team, where I hold roles as a Clinical Mentor, module E-Mentor and subject matter specialist.

While working clinically, I’m also undertaking a PhD at University College Cork, Ireland. My primary research interest is within the field of autistic children and sensory processing. I recently published a review on family life and autistic children with sensory processing differences, which you can check out here.
