Sensory integration and processing...

...play a crucial role in how we focus, move, regulate emotions, and engage in daily life. When sensory processing does not work as expected, individuals may experience sensory sensitivities, difficulties with movement, or challenges in managing their emotions and behaviours. By understanding how sensory integration and processing works, we can better support individuals, adapting environments, activities and our approach to meet their sensory needs and improve their overall participation and well-being.

Why This Course?

If you're a health or care professional, you've likely worked with people who struggle with everyday activities — not because of a lack of motivation or ability, but because the task or environment doesn't match their sensory needs.
