A Christmas Offer That’s For Life
By Sensory Integration Education, 30 November 2021
We have a Christmas offer for you. But this offer isn't just for Christmas, it's for life. We are making our popular short course Understanding Sensory Processing and Integration in Children: For Parents and Carers free. Free forever from 1st December 2021. Because we want more people to be aware of sensory challenges and how to make the world a more sensory friendly place.
When we commissioned a poll* which found that over a third of the UK population had never even heard of sensory integration or processing difficulties, we knew we had to take action. So as our Christmas Offer to you, from 1 December 2021, access to our 1-hour online course created for parents and carers will be completely free.
Understanding Sensory Processing and Integration in Children: For Parents and Carers will:
- Help you better understand the senses and how we process information from our senses
- Introduce you to what sensory issues can look like in a child’s behaviour and engagement, and
- Give you some ideas on how to support your child’s sensory needs at home
Created to the same high standards as our suites of courses for professionals, parents and therapists, this introductory course comprises slides with voice-over, animations, videos, quizzes and many resources to download. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion and CPD Points.
Here’s what people have said about this course:
“I liked how this course helped me to understand the reasons behind children’s reactions and behaviours, while making it clear not to use this to try to diagnose! It was also very useful to have practical applications in the form of ‘safe strategies’ that can be used in everyday life and not just by trained therapists.” - Sophie Leslie
“Thoroughly enjoyed this course, easy to use and follow. Super informative.” - Rhiannon Williams.
“I did the course to see whether it would be useful to link parents to so they can better understand their children’s sensory experiences. It is a thorough introduction and I would be happy to recommend it to parents.” - Sharon George
So will you join us in helping to shift understanding of sensory integration and sensory processing challenges by taking an hour of your time to take this free course or by sharing it?
