Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for Module-Only Study

If you choose to enrol in a module as a stand-alone course, any previous modules you have completed with us will be recognised by Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), even if you have completed these modules at SHU.

This means those modules are not included in the calculation of your final award classification.

For example, if you have completed module A as ‘single module’ only study and then sign up for a PG Cert your award classification will be based only on the grade achieved in Module B

For example if you have completed module A as ‘single module’ only study and then sign up for a PG Dip your award classification will be based only on the grade achieved in Module B and C.
