Really interesting, reinforces the need to look more at the bigger picture around the child and that the adults also need support.

Liz Evans just put words of what I've lived as an OT-mother-of 2 neurodivergents kids, few years ago! I worked with adults and elderly for 20 years but I'm working now with autism adults, in a home care services. Working with parents whose taking care of their son or daughter in crisis since more than 20 years, 24/7 is hard to describe. But with the intervention of Liz Evans today, I guess we have a new way of interpreting and assess all our cases. And I will be more kind with me as a mother who blame herself since 21 years now for not being able to deal with my 2 ''specials kids'' after work... Thanks a lot for your testamony also.
