People graduating. Title reads New SI Highfliers Scholarship Scheme Launches

Earn a PGCert in Sensory Integration and Qualify as an SI Practitioner with the new SI Highfliers Scholarship Scheme from Sensory Integration Education and Sheffield Hallam University and SAVE OVER £2K.

The new SI Highfliers Scholarship Scheme will enable top graduates in occupational therapy; physiotherapy; or speech and language therapy to study for a Postgraduate Certificate in Sensory Integration (SI) for a nominal fee of £600 - saving over two thousand pounds each.

Sensory Integration Education, a not-for-profit educational organisation, and the UK’s award-winning Sheffield Hallam University, have committed to fund three places on their pioneering PGCert in Sensory Integration, which qualifies students as SI Practitioners, on each of their three annual intakes. That’s nine scholarships per year, with both organisations sharing an annual commitment of over £20,000 to the scheme.

Stephanie Ruppel, Postgraduate Education Director, Sensory Integration Education (SIE) said:

“The SI Highfliers Scholarships means that high-achieving graduates can gain the knowledge and clinical experience needed to support people with sensory integration differences, regardless of their ability to fund their studies. We’re dedicated to increasing the pool of qualified practitioners available to individuals and families around the world, as well as supporting researchers exploring SI topics. The field of SI is fast-moving and fascinating, drawing on neuroscience and so many related disciplines, and we hope these scholarships attract the brightest minds to push the field and clinical practice even further forward.”

Professor Toni Schwarz Dean of the College of Health Wellbeing and Life Sciences, Sheffield Hallam University, said:

“When the cost of living is on everybody’s mind, we are delighted to support this new scholarship scheme which makes this postgraduate qualification more accessible to more allied health professionals. It really is a career-enhancing opportunity for therapists to provide life-enhancing interventions to their clients.”

If you are an occupational therapist, speech and language therapist or physiotherapist, were awarded a First-Class in your pre-registration degree or a distinction in your Masters pre-registration degree or a pre-registration doctorate and meet the SI Postgraduate Entry Conditions and technology requirements listed here, you are eligible to apply for the SI Highfliers Scholarship Scheme. Students will study online from anywhere in the world.
