Prof Toni Schwarz Congratulations Speech to SIE 2025 Graduates
11 November 2025
We’re delighted to celebrate the achievements of this year’s graduates from the Sensory Integration postgraduate pathway — a partnership between Sensory Integration Education (SIE) and Sheffield Hallam University.
Students completing the Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Sensory Integration, and the MSc in Advancing Practice Sensory Integration have demonstrated outstanding commitment and passion for developing their expertise in sensory integration practice, research, and leadership.
In a message to mark the occasion, Professor Toni Schwarz, Executive Dean of the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University, recognised the dedication of all the graduates:
“We are proud to honour the enthusiasm, commitment, and sheer hard work of all our students on the Sensory Integration Master’s pathway. Each year we are impressed by the standards our students achieve, and this year is no exception.”
Professor Schwarz also highlighted the importance of the collaboration between the University and SIE, noting that this partnership enables the delivery of “high-quality, practice-focused postgraduate qualifications” and supports the development of the next generation of leaders in sensory integration.
This year’s awards also recognised outstanding students across the MSc, Postgraduate Diploma, and Postgraduate Certificate programmes, with special prizes celebrating excellence in study, clinical application, and contribution to the field.
To all our new Sensory Integration Practitioners and Sensory Integration Practitioners (Advanced), congratulations on your achievement and on the positive difference you are making in practice, research, and the lives of those you support.
“As you move forward,” Professor Schwarz concluded, “remember that every insight you apply and every life you touch helps to build a more inclusive and supportive world — and that is the true power of your achievement.”
